Change of rules to Boost UK Membership!
The IPBA Board has agreed to relax membership rules for international Chapters. New Members can now decide to join the UK Chapter only, without joining the IPBA. This change recognises that the IPBA Convention, a major benefit of the IPBA, is not as accessible to international members as it is for US members.
Members who join the UK Chapter only will not be entitled to many of the benefits of the IPBA such as the Perfume Bottle Quarterly magazine, the annual directory of members and access to the library and will not be able to attend the annual Convention. They will of course be able to take part fully in the activities of the UK Chapter.
So, let's recruit some new members! If you know people who have wanted to join in the past but were put off by the high subscriptions, let them know that for only £10pa they can get the benefits of belonging to a specialist perfume collecting club.
