holiday inn sheppertonOur ninth annual convention will be held in the Holiday Inn, London-Shepperton. The Gloucester Holiday Inn is a hard act to follow but we hope that the move back towards London will attract more members both from the UK and from around the world.

will andrewsGuest speakers this year will be Will Andrews and Simon Brooke.

Will (left) is part of the Proctor and Gamble Fragrance Creation team, based in Egham.  As an evaluator and fragrance scientist, he works with perfumers, designers, and marketeers at The London Innovation Centre, to design the next generation of classic perfumes for the P&G Prestige brand portfolio. 

In a wide ranging presentation Will describes how a big corporate goes about translating the Fashion House creativity into a fragrance, showcasing a major recent fragrance such as D&G The One. He will also cover the new technologies in perfumery and we will smell some fascinating odour notes from those technologies.

simon brookeSimon will tell us about his recently discovered family relationship with the Grossmith brand and how he succeeded in bringing Grossmith back into family ownership. He will also talk about his vision for the future of Grossmith and how he and his wife Amanda went about planning to develop the company.

Sunday will, as usual, be a table top sale with around 15 specialist member/dealers offering thousands of bottles for sale.

Friday 6th November. For early arrivers there will be a trip to Windsor for a guided tour of the Castle followed by a pub lunch and a boat trip on the river Thames,
